Joyce Astin

Joyce Astin Realty LLC's founder Joyce Astin started her career in real estate in the late 1980's. Her goal was to provide her clients with superior service – making the home buying and selling process as smooth as possible. Early on, Joyce enjoyed great success and earned a reputation as an agent who gave 100 percent to every transaction.
As a seller and buyer's agent in the 1980s, when interest rates went as high as 16 percent, Joyce had to learn how to work through the odds. Through a consistent marketing campaign, hard work and the desire to never give in – just give more – Joyce succeeded in real estate and in life. Her background in marketing and promotions lent to her new role as an agent and those skills helped her make a name as a selling agent. By marketing herself and her clients' homes consistently, she was able to find qualified buyers and continue selling homes during rough times.
Today, she works the same way. As technology changes so does the real estate market, and Joyce prides herself as staying ahead of the game. She stays in touch with the ever expanding real estate community by hosting a Real Estate Network once a month and is actively involved in the communities where she sells.
By not limiting herself throughout her career, Joyce has been able to specialize in numerous markets. She continues to further her education by taking classes and receiving new certifications.
Joyce specializes in new homes sales, resale properties, luxury home sales, condominium sales, investment properties, REO (Bank Owned Properties), and short sales. She is a member of the DeKalb Board of Realtors, a member of the National Association of Realtors, a certified REO Specialist and a real estate technology specialist.
By founding her own company, Joyce hopes to further enhance the home buying and selling process by offering her specialized services to a broader range of clients. She believes every homeowner and homebuyer deserves the best possible service available – and at Joyce Astin Realty, LLC that is what each and every client receives.
Meka Astin
Realtor/Interior Designer
With a bachelor's degree in Interior Design from American Intercontinental University, Meka Astin founded Astin Interiors in 2006. Focusing on residential and commercial design projects, Meka brought her art background, love for design and knowledge of real estate to her new role. Having assisted her mother throughout high school and college, Meka understood the importance of interior design as it relates to home sales and began to focus on model home decorating and home staging. She then broadened her horizons, working with remodelers on home renovations and restorations.
In 2007, she earned her real estate license and began to offer her clients a full range of services. With her interior design background, Meka is able to assist her clients as they market and sell their homes.
Entering the new home market, Meka began working as an onsite agent at The Reserve at Ivy Creek, a townhome community in Buford. She continued working with interior design clients and earned her certification as a REO Specialist and Real Estate Technology Specialist.
She brings her background in real estate sales and interior design to her role at Joyce Astin Realty. Her professionalism, experience and passion for real estate combine to create the perfect mix for clients – making Joyce Astin Realty a one-stop shop for home sellers and buyers, as well as new home builders and developers.
